Highlights

Facility where you can have hands-on experience to learn about OMRON’s history from its founding to the present, as well as its proprietary technologies and services that will continue into the future

OMRON aims to be a pioneer in developing and providing the general public with technologies, products, and services that help solve social issues by quickly detecting latent social needs. Calling this “innovation driven by social needs,” the company has passed it on as its “corporate DNA” since its founding. Comprising two floors, which are respectively dedicated to the history of the company and its proprietary technologies, the Omron Communication Plaza is a corporate museum that tells the story of how the company has been and will be working to foster innovation driven by social needs from its founding through the present and toward the future. On the history floor, real products and videos are on display to vividly trace the company’s journey from its founding to the present. The technology floor showcases OMRON’s technologies, services, and businesses in three zones focused on solutions to different social challenges: achieving carbon neutrality, realizing a digital society, and increasing healthy life expectancy.
[Notice] Advance booking is required for visitors. A tour of the entire facility needs about one hour. Japanese and English are used as guidance languages. *Only explanatory videos and pamphlets are available in Chinese as well.
