The World’s oldest music box dating back to 1796:

A museum with one of the world's largest collections of music boxes

This museum has taken over one of the world’s largest collections of music boxes, originally assembled by Guido Reuge, the founder of the Swiss music box manufacturer Reuge. The museum boasts a collection of 2,000 music boxes in total, including Reuge’s collection, from among which it exhibits about 150 items, with explanations and playback demonstrations provided, while replacing the exhibits according to the period of the year. The exhibits include the world’s oldest music box and small jewelry used to decorate early music boxes, as well as automata (mechanical dolls) with built-in music boxes. You can enjoy viewing, listening to, and learning about music boxes from various perspectives.
