Takeda Garden for Medicinal Plant Conservation, Kyoto is a botanical garden operated by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited, a global biopharmaceutical company. Established in 1933 in response to the need for domestic pharmaceutical production following World War I, the garden started as a facility for basic research and production.
